Hot Seat Participants

Question: Will there be a cross-section of participants who participate in the hot seat? I enjoyed listening and learning from the ladies who participated, and I respect their personal goals. Will there be other members who might not be as far along in their BAB journey?

Answer: The Hot Seat participants are chosen at random so it is hard to say exactly where each member is at on their journey. However, you can learn something from each hot seat coaching session regardless of where you are in your journey.

Calculating macros

Question: I am struggling to calculate my macros. Before the program, I was averaging 2000 calories per day. I calculated my TDEE based on my weight and activity level to be 1728. Taking a 20% deficit put me at 1382 calories. This very low number contradicts what Amber has been teaching us about starting out high. Am I off track?

Answer: This would be such a great conversation to have in the Facebook group because it does require some back and forth conversation. The question to ask yourself - How was my body responding to the average 2000 calories per day? If you were maintaining, then 2000 calories is your TDEE and you would find your deficit from that. The calculated TDEE is just an estimate number. So, if you have feedback from your body indicating 2000 calories is maintenance then that is the number you use.

Also, what is preventing you from starting with a more moderate deficit which would put you at higher calories. Again, this would be a way more effective conversation to...

Custom macros

Question: Hello, how do I sign up for custom macros? I am not sure if I did. I did sign up for macros 101 and paid. Also, when I click on request coaching, it takes me to a blank page that says I can't access that. And a few other things I click on also takes me to that page.

Answer: The link to purchase custom macros is located in the Member's Portal in the Getting Started section. I am not sure what you are referring to with the request coaching. All the coaching is done in the private Facebook Group and on the Coaching Calls.

Answer: Yes, you can successfully cut without impacting your cycle. Keeping your fat at a minimum of 40g will help keep your hormones balanced. Each person will vary in terms of the deficit amount and cut time.
